Baxter Office
Baxter Pharmaceuticals wanted an outdoor seating area for employees to gather throughout the day at their new corporate offices in Mississauga. An area was selected on the south side of the building and integrated with the site walkway system. A field of concrete and coloured concrete bands supports clusters of seating, utilizing bright red recycled “lounge” chairs and curvilinear steel eating tables. Tall grasses were used to contain the gathering area. Low bench tables emphasize the relaxed design.
